Kirk Perucca, President

Kirk Perucca has spent his life educating businesses and nonprofit agencies about diversity and inclusion. As a Presbyterian minister, Perucca serves an urban neighborhood church with a multicultural congregation. Perucca spent 8 years as the president and CEO of a national nonprofit organization that promoted diversity. Perucca was a national compliance officer for the Department of Justice in the Adam's Mark Hotel settlement from Nov. 6, 2000, to the projects end in 2004. Through past work experience, Perucca has provided training for nonprofit organizations, fire and police departments, and major corporations across the nation. He holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Iowa in religion and political science, a master's degree in public administration. He also holds a Master of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

Jerry McEvoy

Jerry McEvoy is a former senior executive at a major New York bank, which is now J.P. Morgan. Mr. McEvoy spent 18 years as the Executive Director of the Upper Room taking its nationally recognized summer reading program to over 3,000 students.  At the Upper Room, Mr. McEvoy also established the Eddie Baker School of Music.

Michael Baker

Michael Baker is a retired Captain with the Kansas City Fire Department. He is also member of the Knights of Columbus at his church as well as a committee member at his son’s Boy Scout troop. The Charlie Parker Memorial Foundation was founded by his late father, Eddie Baker. In the early years of the Foundation, Michael spent countless hours hanging out and had the opportunity to meet legendary and great jazz musicians including Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, Clark Terry, and Mary Lou Williams among many more. He currently serves on the Board of the Charlie Parker Memorial Foundation. In his spare time, his hobbies includes working on projects around the house, and spending time with his wife Frances and his son and two adult daughters.

Frances Baker

Frances Baker received her B.A. degree from Rockhurst University and her MHSA from Central Michigan University. She is a Sr. Contract Administrator in the legal department for a large health care system. When she’s not working, she does community work through the ladies auxiliary club at her church, is a committee member on her son’s Boy Scout troop and also volunteers her services for a local recycling center. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Charlie Parker Memorial Foundation.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending fun time with her husband Michael and her two daughters and son.

Christopher J. Mohart

Chris Mohart represents owners, design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors, and sureties.  In this regard, Mr. Mohart has negotiated and drafted numerous contracts and handled a variety of claims relating to breach of contract, insurance coverage, design errors and omissions, bid protests, payment and performance bonds, mechanic’s liens, and an array of federal and state statutory violations.

As a litigator, Mr. Mohart has successfully represented clients in arbitration as well as state and federal courts, both at the trial and appellate levels.  Clients appreciate Mr. Mohart’s counsel because of his committed service and value-oriented thinking, whether the task is considered small or large.
